Developer plans US-Nigeria collaboration in fresh effort to tackle housing deficit

A US-based Nigerian real estate development and investment firm, Peniel Investment and Development LLC, is in the final stages of planning a collaborative effort between the US and Nigeria through a Real Estate Collaboration Conference and Exhibition. This initiative aims to address Nigeria's substantial housing deficit, currently estimated at around 28 million units, requiring approximately N21 trillion to bridge the gap, as per expert assessments.

Founder Ibukunoluwa Otinwa acknowledges the enormity of the housing deficit and recognizes that the government alone cannot solve this critical issue. In response, Peniel Investment and Development LLC is organizing a five-day event scheduled for the third quarter of 2024. The conference, exhibition, and business dinner intend to bring together real estate investors, private investors, developers, brokers, individuals, celebrities, and government dignitaries from both the US and Nigeria.

Otinwa anticipates that the event will facilitate transactions and investments totaling about $500 million, acting as a catalyst for transformative change. The immersive experience will feature a comprehensive program, including a conference with distinguished speakers from both nations, three exhibitions, a business dinner, and enlightening site tours.

"The US-Nigeria Real Estate Collaboration Conference and Exhibition 2024 represents a beacon of hope in addressing Nigeria’s housing crisis through international cooperation and shared commitment," Otinwa stated, shedding light on the mission and vision of Peniel Investment and Development LLC. The firm's mission is to provide quality real estate investment and development for everyone, irrespective of their social and ethnic backgrounds. Their vision is to become a world-class real estate investment and development company by creating exclusive comfortable lifestyles for humans, animals, and plants.
Otinwa emphasizes the core values of the organization, highlighting customer satisfaction, a focus on solutions, belief in teamwork, and the pursuit of greatness through continuous improvement. This collaborative effort seeks to make a positive impact on Nigeria's housing crisis through global partnerships and a commitment to creating inclusive and sustainable living environments.
